This demand for the access to your location is a constraint of the Android OS, related to the Bluetooth Low Energy, that is use to pair your REMI with your application. This access should not be demanded, and UrbanHello doesn’t use these location data at all in the application. However, the Android system has linked the Bluetooth Low Energy with the GPS Location, and there is nothing we can do in the application to avoid this at the moment. We keep looking at the Android evolutions that would allow us to remove this location authorization, and we’ll do it as soon as we can.
